Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent where legally applicable. Withdrawal does not necessarily invalidate processing that occurred before withdrawal.
9. Information shared with other users
Sendy is a two-sided marketplace/service platform. Some information must be shared between users to perform an errand.
For example, after an errand is accepted, a rider may need access to:
- Customer name;
- Pickup information;
- Delivery information;
- Relevant delivery instructions;
- Phone/contact functionality;
- Information about the requested item.
Similarly, a customer may receive information about the assigned rider necessary to identify or communicate with the rider.

- Use reasonable security practices;
- Notify Sendy promptly if you suspect unauthorised access;
- Avoid sharing authentication codes;
- Log out of shared devices.
Sendy will never intentionally request your payment-card PIN, banking password, or other credentials that it does not need to operate the Platform.
15. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
- Maintaining accounts;
- Completing transactions;
- Resolving disputes;
- Preventing fraud;
- Meeting accounting requirements;
- Meeting legal and regulatory obligations;
- Enforcing agreements;
- Maintaining business records.
Certain transaction, payment, security, or legal records may therefore remain after an account is deleted. Where information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymise, or securely dispose of it.

You may request deletion of your Sendy Errands account at any time:
- In the app — open Profile, then Delete account, and follow the confirmation steps.
- By email — write to support@sendyerrands.com from the address registered to your account.
When an account is deleted, we remove or anonymise your profile information, saved addresses, and contact details. As described in section 15, certain transaction, payment and security records are retained where we are required to keep them for accounting, legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes; those records stop being linked to your profile.
Accounts with an outstanding order, an unresolved dispute, or an outstanding balance may need those matters concluded before deletion completes.
18. Children
Sendy is not intended to be used by children who are legally incapable of entering into contracts.
Where the service is used by students or younger users, use must comply with applicable age, parental-consent, educational, and data-protection requirements.

21. Marketing communications
Sendy may send service-related messages necessary to operate the Platform. Where legally permitted, Sendy may also send promotional communications.
You may opt out of promotional communications using available unsubscribe or notification controls. Opting out of marketing does not necessarily stop essential service communications.
22. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Platform, website, email, or another appropriate channel. The updated version will indicate its effective date.
